Alginate Collagen Dressing

Intended Use：

It combines the advantages of alginate and collagen.These dressings are made of alginate fibres. When exudate from a wound comes in contact with the dressing, the sodium alginate present in the fibres absorbs the exudative fluid to form a softgel. The soft gel is intended to create a moist wound environment at the wound surface to promote wound healing. Calcium Alginate Dressing The gel formed by the dressing does not adhere to the delicate healing tissues in the wound bed.Collagen can interact with the tissue cells of the wound surface, promoting cell adhesion and proliferation, thereby facilitating wound healing and repair. Secondly, collagen dressings have excellent adsorption and moisture conductivity, which can absorb the exudate from wounds, maintain a moist environment on the wound surface, and facilitate wound healing.
